I would like to take this opportunity to seek sincere forgiveness from all.
So, every year we go visiting.
Same ol' questions arise.
A trip down to granda house, abit later than usual to expect a lesser crowd. Guess everyone thinks alike. Uncle XYZ were there.
"Dah abis sekolah?"
"Buat apa sekarang?"
"Kerje apa?''
Basically, relative and extended family members questions about your life, careers and what not. It's a 5min update of a years' worth of happenings in your life. Then, uncles and aunties starts to compare his/her child to you.
yadaa. yadaa.
Honestly, Uncle XYZ, I dun give a shit about you son and whatever ambition he could be. Whether he's in China for studies and all. I bet your son don't even wash he's own underwear.
I wonder if they are asking for the sincerity of it or just to make them feel good about themselves.
Well, maybe next year, i would bring my folder attached with my diploma, certificates of involvements, my photos, my passport with stamps of different places that I went and my last paid cheque.

That would shut you up.
Oh well. Maaf Zahir dan Batin, ehh?
