Giselle- Dance Appreciation, Esplanade -27/02/08

An hour instead of a 3hours long ballet. This was beneficial for those who don't really fancy to much dancing-with minimal acting. I say, the Ballet Master did do a marvelous job walking through the story while he's dancers performed. Tho, after awhile it felt wee dizzy. This brought back memories to my lecturer briefing about the story of Giselle and the Romantic Era. The history of it's tutus and how spirits dance. Abit drama, she falls in love to a man who disguised as a peasant, then died because of a broken heart and turned into wili.

OH wells, Giselle is a beautiful love story.
To cut story short. :)

Virgina Monologue

Well, it's my school BA Grad production. Umm. OK la. Great Director, Great lay outs but acting so-so. Only 1 could speak well, the rest, i think we need to stress on the English Speaking for BA standards. It's based on the book written by Eve Ensler.

HarPercussion

A sold out event. Harp is a beautiful instrument, it felt like i was in the some mermaid land. It's a lovely classical instrument. She strums the instrument beautifully. But i seriously think that Harp should be a background music rather than playing on it's own. Well, that's my opinion that is.
