Heading to the clinic in awhile, it seems that a tiny itch on my finger has spreads. Ugh. I'm having an allergy reaction to i think some paint that splash on my hands, when i painted the cuboard in Laos. The itch is driving me nuts! My allergy list is getting longer now. I'm allergic to non-silver jewllery, steamed prawns, plasters, brown tape and now PAINT! .. I guess my [ai. Love. Cinta. Laos] Project is still fresh in my mind. Here is some captions in my journal when i'm there. I'll be posting more abt it in the near fututre. The people of Laos have also taught me to always smile and keep on smiling. Their lives are simple unlike us here. Children run care freely in the evening. Some kick punctured soccer ball around. Girls were 5-stones players pro and rubber band skipping champions. Ahem. Well, It's ok. At least, I'm the twice-unbeaten musical chair winner there. Bless me for having a bigger ass to tick my tiny opponent off the chair as the music stops. Riding bicycle around aimlessly in an open field was also their pastimes. It took me awhile to ride the bicycle stably. I can't remember when was the last time I even ride one! A roof on top of their heads and close niche families ties are everything. I felt that I was once living the times when my parents were younger, their kampong lives. Now, I'm living a dog eats dog society, concrete closed-doors village. Being in a School of Performing Arts, their rich colourful culture made me think in envy. They have a traditional dance, song, musical instrument, and costume. What is my Malay-Bawean-Indonesian heritage? Or what is Singapore's a whole? That saddens me. As I know little of the answers to my questions. |
